Hi Tracy,
Even though most of this blog will be about history here’s a little about me. I was born in the small town of Merritt, BC just forty-five minutes away and came to TRU so I could go to university but stay close to my childhood friends and my family. I registered for your class because I am fascinated with history and the idea of hearing stories about the people that once walked on the same ground I do now and the experiences they had. This is why I decided to major in history at TRU. Along with my passion for uncovering the past I enjoy helping people learn about new things. This is why I am becoming an elementary teacher and have been accepted into the elementary teaching program for September 2019. I love history courses and when I’m registering for classes I take as many as I can. This class was perfect for me as it incorporates both history and education making it one of my favourite classes of the semester.
